Hi there and happy Sunday!  (: I know it seems like i am doing nothing lately.. when really i am achieving a lot in regards to what i am trying to accomplish.. and on top of that i have been busy with my family photography part of my business... my family, and my dear friends ... with that said i just want to let you guys know I have some big plans coming up in regards to my photography art.. it's just a process to get there. I actually was going to do a shoot yesterday that no matter how hard i tried to get the scene together i kept facing obstacles one after another ( most of which had nothing to do with the set itself) so as i planned to shoot i realized i needed darkness to get the shot i was aiming for.. so that gave me a little time on my hands.. so i did some research online and found some info that has really advanced me in where i am heading.. i know it sounds all confusing . i cant really say what it is for now.. but just know that things may not be moving as fast as i want or when i want.. but they are for sure moving in the right direction and how they are suppose to and i am guessing in the time they need to.. (: 

    I have several shoots that i want to do.. they are just all whirling in my head and sometimes i just dont know where to start.. i have to get grounded and just do one... this last few weeks i was distracted and just couldnt think clearly so i didnt even try.. my husband had to go in for a Colonoscopy and it was quite scary because his dad died of colon cancer when he was just 13 and well the thought of him having it , and looking at my 6 year old son.. it was just too much.. but i am very happy to say he is completely clear of any cancer or anything !! So with this new feeling of relief and gratitude i can now get back to my creative end of my work.. 
    I am now on the quest of a vintage child Bodice  for an upcoming shoot.. (: thanx for listening to me rant... i really need to get on here more offen.. ugh i feel like i say that too much!! lol

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!!! how was everyones turkey day? I had an amazing holiday weekend with my family! my beautiful daughter flew down from Nor-Cal to spend it with us.. so to have all four of us together was the best it could be!!! Not to mention she made the BEST Tiramisu .... thank you Sarah!!!! I have a shoot coming up here shortly so trying to get that all together in my mind , what i want to do and how... i Have a theme and somewhat an idea.. its just getting it all together and making it happen!!! well hope everyone has a good week!!! (: 

Time for one this morning...

So i got a little time this morning to edit.. I know .. I know i should be prepping my house for my beautiful daughter who is flying into LAX this morning... but my trial period for CS6 is up after today.. I ordered my hard copy yesterday so I will be a week without it.. /: so i wanted to get one more edit done of the sugar skull shoot before I have to wait for the other one to come in.. annnyyyway..  managed to edit two and had a hard time choosing between the two..there is also a 3rd one i want to do but that will HAVE to wait till later.. anyway here we go.. the Ghostly Bella ...

I love this shoot , this is 8 year old Bella . who sat so patiently for 3 hours in make-up and another 2.5 hours shooting between studio and a cemetery.. she was such a trouper... I had a personal delay in the last two weeks so the editing f this shoot has stopped.. I have another shoot coming up so the rest of this shoot will have to be edited and released at later dates... /:

Hello my friends.. 
    well i have moved my blog over here for more customization and hopefully can link it to my FB page... you can still find my old blog" here " I am moving my last 2.5 shoots to this one because i am moving in a new direction in my photography.. and what a better time to move all this newness in one place!!!! lol 

Ok so i am super excited to say that this new direction is very clear yet no clarity at all.. sounds a little Alice in Wonderlandish.. lol but it makes perfect sense to me.. I am clear that i want to head into the more artistic realm of photography.. my shoots come to me in flashes in my mind .. pieces of shoots.. and most of the time i try to run with it.. sometimes they fall into place by accident... and i gotta say its the BEST feeling getting those shots... to see them come to life and not be flashes in my mind but actual images in front of me.. i have only just scratched the surface of my imagination.. getting ready to dig a little deeper to see what lies beneath ..... so with that let me put up some of my recent work..
